We were going to place audio files on this page. Instead we are providing a worship service via the telephone. Because of the cost involved per hour, we must limit the participants to those we know personally.
The telephone service is done with a teleconference bridge. Each participant phones a number and an access code. Then everyone is on the same conference call, which may have many different active lines.
A Mighty Fortress provides the service and has a Polycom phone and a wireless mike to get the sound out on the telephone wire. Participants do best with a speaker phone with "full duplexing." Full duplexing means all parties can speak at the same time. Half duplexing is the same as a walkie-talkie.
The weekly cost is not high if each participant pays his own phone bill, only 5 cents or less per minute on Sunday. Another inexpensive alternative is to use the conference feature and phone two other parties.
Beware of adopting the 800 number scenario with the teleconference bridge. That will eat up the budget in no time.
